This upcoming 2017 spring we will be offering a large amount of workshops, including fairy gardenings, container gardening, and open table planting stations. Because of our transition to more customer hands-on gardening, we feel the addition of more workshops will be a great way to help our customers learn how to make the great container garden combos they love and deserve.

Each workshop will last roughly two hours. For the first hour the instructor will work with the class giving general advice, demonstrating specific techniques, and answering any questions you may have. During the second hour, clients may stay to finish their containers and our staff will still be available for any more specific questions you may have. Clients may reasonably expect to be able to finish two containers during each two hour workshop. Customers will be self lead for the open table planting stations.
Container Gardening Workshop: $15.00 + cost of materials
The cost of the workshop covers soil, fertilizer, instruction, and care for up to three baskets or pots until it is ready to be brought home. Each additional container can be planted for the discounted price of $5. Materials includes plants and new containers (clients may bring their own or purchase new containers from our store).
Open Table Planting Station: $5.00 per container + cost of materials. $5 care fee per pot to leave in the greenhouse
Fairy Gardening Workshop: $10.00 + cost of materials. 10% discount on fairy accessories.
Fall Container Planting Workshop: $10.00 + cost of materials. The cost of the workshop covers soil, fertilizer, and instruction from our knowledgeable greenhouse staff. Materials includes plants and new containers (customers may bring their own or purchase new containers from our store).
As stated above, clients may bring their own containers or purchase new ones from our store. We encourage you to be creative with your containers, especially for the fairy/miniature garden workshop. Old dresser drawers, old boots, wooden crates, and even cracked or broken pottery can be turned into charming miniature gardens.
Because we want our customers to have the best experience possible, each workshop will be restricted to 15 clients, with reservations being on a first-come-first-served basis. This will allow us to ensure that each client receives the assistance they need and to provide a more friendly and casual environment.
Additional workshops may be scheduled depending on demand, and we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a workshop based on lack of registrants. If you have any questions about the possibility of other dates and/or times, please feel free to contact us.
